READ: Nehemiah 6:1-16

“…and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.” – Nehemiah 2:1

When Nehemiah’s attitude changed, it was immediately noticed by the king. Nehemiah was someone who constantly had a good attitude at work. His face was bright; he was cheerful and happy at work. A moody, sulky face was not what the king was used to dealing with. The change in the eager and cheerful face of Nehemiah was so noticeable that it sparked off a chain reaction.

No one wants to have an unhappy and unlucky person around him. Every one wants to have a cheerful and encouraging person by his side. Most leaders are lonely and discouraged. They constantly sense danger and pretence.

What a joy it is to have a positive and happy person around you!
